Brave youngsters rewarded
The nation's leading first aid charity is gearing up to honour thirteen brave young people this Saturday at its annual Young First Aider of the Year Awards.

First aiders at one of the country's most bizarre events – the annual cheese rolling competition- saw a 50% increase in injuries compared to last year with the muggy weather turning the ground into a virtual trampoline.
Supporting National Family Week
St John Ambulance will be supporting the UK's first ever National Family Week from 25-31 May 2009 by demonstrating how families can learn first aid and volunteer together with the organisation
Arm against allergies
St John Ambulance is supporting National Allergy Week from 11-16 May by encouraging everyone to learn how to treat severe allergic reactions, particularly those close to sufferers.
Nurses' Day support
St John Ambulance is proud to support Nurses’ Day (12 May) and celebrate the invaluable contribution of nurses to the organisation.
