Frequently asked questions

As of July 2009 the exciting Open Gate redevelopment project will begin its full-scale transformation of the ground floor galleries, which is expected to be completed by September 2010.

During this period, the Museum will be closed to the public and all public enquiry services will be put on hold.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but we must emphasise the importance of concentrating all our efforts on the successful management and completion of this project.

When the Museum re-opens in September 2010 the enquiry service will be re-introduced and all all enquiries dealt with as quickly as possible.
