Door-to-door fundraising

Fundraisers wearing St John Ambulance t-shirts and ID badges are visiting households around the UK to talk to residents about the work of St John Ambulance and to encourage their support with a voluntary donation once a year, by direct debit.

Why

St John Ambulance is currently working on a door-to-door supporter recruitment scheme in over 30 counties around the UK with the help of fundraisers from Wesser Ltd.

In England alone, already over 100,000 supporters are supporting St John Ambulance through this annual giving scheme.

As a result of the government Gift Aid scheme, St John Ambulance is able to claim an additional 28p for each £1 donated from this scheme.

This form of fundraising is extremely important to St John Ambulance because the more long-term supporters we can recruit, the more funds we raise - and the greater potential we have to continue our life-saving activities in our local communities.
